COVID-19 Policies and Procedures

We understand that the health and safety of your family and friends is paramount in choosing a lodging destination. To that end, Snowcreek Resort Vacation Rentals has developed a broad reaching program of updated procedures and policies to keep guests, homeowners and staff healthy while still providing a memorable vacation experience. Should you have questions or requests after reviewing the below, please feel free to contact us!

An important message from the State of California:

Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N-33-20, and associated guidance of the California Public Health Officer, continue to apply statewide. These advise Californians to “avoid travelling long distances for vacations or pleasure as much as possible. This is to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Do not travel if you are sick, or if someone in your household has had coronavirus in the last two weeks. Do not travel with someone who is sick.”

Snowcreek Resort's “Contact Free" Rental Service

  • All properties offer keyless access. Check in and check out are performed at your Snowcreek Resort property. There is no need to go to an office during your stay.

  • Additional supplies (towels, toiletries, trash bags, etc) are available for delivery between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm daily. These will be left just inside the front door if no one is home. For a complete list of available supplies please contact us.

  • Please note that our Rental Office is currently closed to the public.

  • Maintenance issues: We are very serious about keeping our staff and guests healthy, therefore at this time we are not offering any in unit services during occupancy. Should you have a service need during your stay, please contact our staff and we will do our best to assist you in rectifying the issue over the telephone or by delivering supplies to you. Of course in the case of an emergency, contact us and/or 911.

Mandatory Vacancy Period

  • Properties will remain vacant for a minimum of 24 hours between stays.

Bedding and Towels

  • Upon arrival, you will find each bed prepared with professionally laundered sheets (we use a triple-sheeting process), pillow cases, pillow protectors, comforter, mattress pad and pillows. These are cleaned between all stays. Fresh supplies for the sofa bed (if applicable) will be left in a sealed bag on the sofa for your convenience.

  • Guests are asked to bring extra blankets if they feel they might need them. Management will not have extra bedding to loan out.

  • Professionally laundered towels will be placed in a sealed bag in each property.

  • New, unopened facial tissue, toilet paper, paper towels and restroom amenities will be provided for your use.

  • Our staff has been trained to follow specific disinfecting protocol. In addition to our standard cleaning regimen, the following “high touch” items will be disinfected prior to your stay:  These include but are not limited to the entry keypad, door knobs and handles, kitchen appliances and hard surfaces, garage door openers, spa/ski locker keys, television/electronic remotes, bathroom fixtures, light switches, lamp turn knobs, closet and dresser drawer handles and pulls, stairway railings. High touch “soft surfaces”  such as upholstery will be sanitized with approved products that are safe for occupants.

  • Soft surface items such as decorative pillows, throw blankets, bed blankets, shams and bedskirts have been bagged and put away in closets. PLEASE do not disturb these items during your stay. Guests will be assessed a re-bagging charge if necessary.

  • Staff wear face covering and gloves at all times when working in rental properties and have been trained in proper use of these protective items.

  • Snowcreek Resort offices, support buildings and vehicles are disinfected daily.

Kitchen Items

  • In compliance with the current State and Local Health Department guidelines, we are required to wash and clean all kitchen items that are provided between every stay.  As such, we reduced the quantity of items to the list below.  Please use ONLY these items that you will find in the cupboards and drawers with the green “FOR GUEST USE” sign.

    • Blender, Coffee maker, Cutting board, Tea kettle, Four Slice Toaster and Paper Towel Holder

    • Snowcreek Service (plates, bowls, coffee mugs, glassware, silverware & steak knives)

    • 2 and 6 quart saucepan with lid, 12” frying pan, 2 mixing bowls, Colander, Can/bottle opener, Chef’s knife, Cookie sheet, Full size grater, Grill tools, Measuring cups and spoons,  Scissors, Slotted spoon, Soup ladle, Spatula, Tongs,  Vegetable peeler and a Wine opener.

Miscellaneous Owner Provided Items

  • As you can imagine, it is not possible to clean every item in the property after each stay. Please use good judgement when using items like DVD’s, books, games or other owner supplied amenities.

Please help keep yourself safe and healthy by practicing proper social distancing, wear face covering in public an wash hands often for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap or hand sanitizer.
